Our Jumpstart programs let you sit back and relax while your pup receives 1-on-1 lessons with our trainer.

Want to be more hands-on in the training process?

We also offer Coaching Packages, where you learn how to train your puppy yourself.
With Coaching, you’ll have weekly lessons with our trainer followed by practice recommendations. Plus, email access to our trainer for as much support as you need between sessions.

How training works:

1. Free Intro Call

We welcome you to schedule a free 30-minute phone call with our trainer. Intro Calls are an opportunity to learn how we might help you and to explore which training package might best fit your needs.

2. Choose Your Training Package

We offer specially designed packages to best suit your lifestyle and training goals. Learn more about package details below. Or, schedule an Intro Call so we can help you determine which package is the best fit. You can easily book Intro Calls and packages on our scheduling page.

3. Start Right Session

Once you’ve chosen and booked a package, we’ll kick things off with a Start Right Session. This get-to-know-you session lets us set goals and expectations, demystify your puppy’s behavior, and create your puppy’s management, enrichment, and training plan.

4. Start Training!

From here, you’re ready to embark on your training journey! You and your puppy will have regular sessions with our certified trainer, learning positive strategies to achieve your training goals.

Puppy Life Skills - Jumpstart

Your puppy isn’t just a dog – they’re family! And you only get one chance to give them the best possible start in life.
 
Fast-track the process of teaching your little one the basics – let our trainer take the reins to jumpstart your puppy’s training.
 
We’ll do the hardest part – teaching your puppy good behaviors – so you don’t have to.
 
How it works: 
At your Start Right Session, you’ll learn initial tips for quick relief from puppy headaches like biting and housetraining, and we’ll get a feel for what you want your future with your pup to look like. 
 
Then, your puppy starts learning 1-on-1 with our trainer, with two Jumpstart Sessions each week covering life skills, confidence, basic manners, and impulse control.
 
We check in with you through Transfer Sessions, and we include Follow-Up Sessions afterwards for even more support.

Puppy Life Skills - Coaching

Take the uncertainty and overwhelm out of puppy-parenting. We’ll guide you through training your new pup step-by-step. 
 
With a compassionate and competent trainer in your corner, you’ll start basic manners training, get relief from puppy problems, and set the stage for a happy and polite family member for life.
 
In addition to essentials like sit, come, and settle, this package also incorporates a new core puppy “life skill” each week (confidence-building, bite inhibition, and more). These early life lessons pave the way to a confident, easygoing adult dog and a joyful future together.

Puppy Primer - Coaching

Just need help with one particular puppy problem, or teaching a particular behavior? Or maybe you’ve raised a puppy before, but want a quick refresher on how best to begin your new life together?

This mini package offers just enough support to get you unstuck in your training, or to make sure you’re heading in the right direction.

Puppy Field Trips

Getting your puppy out to learn about the great big world in a safe way while they’re young is one of the best investments you can make towards a worry-free future together. But it’s hard to find the time!

Ensure your pup gets the best socialization during this critical time – Have a trainer socialize your puppy for you! Your puppy goes on socialization field trips where they get 1-on-1 learning time with our trainer.

Field trips build confidence with new sights, sounds, smells, people, and places. The agenda for each Field Trip is tailored to your individual puppy, and is determined by your puppy’s age, personality, and vaccination status. We follow AVSAB recommendations for effective and safe puppy socialization.

This extension package can be added on to any puppy package. 

Puppy Field Trips are highly recommended if:

  • You have a busy schedule
  • You feel overwhelmed at the prospect of socializing your puppy yourself
  • You want to be able to travel, go new places, and socialize together without fear, anxiety, or stress
  • Your puppy is already showing signs of worry around new things, people, or places
  • Your puppy’s breed is predisposed towards nervousness or “aloofness” as they mature (includes many working or herding breeds)
Jumpstart (We train for you):
  • 4 Puppy Field Trips, where our trainer picks up your puppy and socializes them at various pup-friendly locations around town
Cost: $440 or $550*
 
*Cost when added on to Jumpstart Packages is $550 since it includes an additional Transfer Session.
